So I finally got around to finish the Ari Aster Midsommar movie. I watched it halfway thought sometime last year, but never got around to actually finishing it. Well now I had and… Well… Let’s just say that the first half of the movie was way better than the second half.

I mean sure, it does take place in Sweden during our midsummer buuut… There are A LOT of minor details it gets wrong… Like that our Midsommar is like 7 days long or something. It’s just two days. And of course we don’t eat magic mushrooms or set people on fire… Well… Not usually anyway.

If you really need a scary movie that takes place in Sweden, I’d recommend The Ritual instead.
