This is unfortunatly based on a true story. We rent a flat over here in Sweden and when we first moved in here we noticed that we had this neighbour who thought it would be a great idea to do carpentry (mostly hammering) in the middle of the night (usually like 2-3 in the morning). Sounds made up right? But no. Sadly this person excists in real life.

BUT I never actually bashed his head in with a hammer. We just made sure he had to pay a fine to the landlord and since it’s been quiet! … Well. Mostly at least. Up until the other day when he did it again and I came up with this comic strip. He’s been quiet since tho.

This comic was really fun to make tho since it takes place at night/early morning and I got to play around with shadows and light (in the first panel).

Also, fans of Asian cinema might recognize the design of the hammer in the last frame btw. Yeah… It’s Old Boy’s hammer 🙂 The first version of this comic had an Old Boy themeed punchline, but I figured I’d scrap that since I guess it’s a little bit obscure.
