This was yesterdays’s big surprise for the day. The Disney corporation buys LucasFilms, George Lucas gets 4 billion dollars, and we get to see a Star Wars Episode VII in 2015. May the force be with us…

I have no idea how to react to that to be honest. At first I thought “Fuck you Disney! You don’t need to own every company in the world!” but then I started thinking “Well the futher away George Lucas is from the Star Wars brand, the better”. Because to be be honest, not many people enjoyed the sappy writing of the new 3 episodes he wrote… But to be fair, if there is one company that can make it even worse for Star Wars, it would be Disney.

To me, Star Wars will always be Episode IV – Episode VI, and no one can take that away from me. Unless Disney makes another remastered remake and replaces Darth Vader with Darth Mickey like in the comic… that would be quite a terrible thing.
