No Flash
I’ve never understood the hate towards Flash. Especially from people with iPhones and macs in general. Some say that “Yeah, well, as soon as there’ flash on a site then it’s way to flashy and the webpage works like shit!”. That’s like saying that HTML is shit because some peoople make pages that look like this. Anyways. I wish that my iPhone could run Flash. just saying :p
Anyways. I think that this is the reason why the iPhone won’t run Flash… But that is just my guess 🙂 Gotta love that last frame.
HTML5 is the solution of the flash/apple-war ^_^ as long as youtube/adobe and other corporations don’t get their greedy-pants on and ruin it 😛
Basically because the virtual machine that flash scripts run in is extremely greedy, and there’s no good way around using up enormous amounts of computational cycles for simple little animations. I’m not entirely sure why that almost kills my 32 core Mac Pro but not my home pc… But in the case of the iPhone, it’s pretty much because 1 hour battery life, and probably losing the functionality to, say, receive phone calls, would be annoying just to play little flash games.
