So now that Halloween is over and done with, Gametrailers.com’s Castlevania Retrospective comes to an end. I have to say that I enjoyed it quite a lot, even if the last episode felt like it was assembled in a hurry. But the whole retrospective got me thinking of something I’ve always been wondering with the Castlevania-series; How DO you kill Dracula with a whip?

I mean, I’ve heard of Dracula dying of sunlight, stakes, drowning, drowned in an icy river, electricuted by a bolt of lightning, mushed up in old wheels… But I’ve never seen him getting beaten to death by a whip.  I am pretty sure that Dracula is a sadomasochist and returns every 50-100 years or so just to get a good whipping by the Belmont’s. And that is how I came up with this comic 😛

I went with a different style of the Belmont from what I usually see on the internet. I don’t really like Richter Belmont, or the modern version of Simon Belmont (think you got enough make-up there, mate?) , so I tried to do it after the Castlevania 1 Box Art from the NES. And all in all, I have to say it turned out pretty good 🙂
